I so regret buying my rocky mountain now! My NEXT bike will be something similar to this, but probably not this one as first I need to find another 4000 dollars. On a student budget that takes YEARS! Tears Frown

its not something you notice unless you're looking for it though. I say a bike can be beautiful and all, but it should also be functional. For the meager gain in style points it's really not worth it. Some day when you wanna ride on the streets you'll miss the control a brake offers

if you ever ride on the street I would probably leave the mounts on for safety's sake. On the other hand if this is a dedicated park bike then I don't see a problem
